Yesterday Makaio kept pounding his fist on his hand, fist and other things and kept grunting as if I was supposed to understand this gesture. After getting completely frustrated by him insisting that I do whatever went with the fist pound I tried to think about what it was that he was wanting me to do. After a little while I realized that he wanted me to sing a song with that action in it.

This morning I made a video of him pounding his fist like a rock as I sang/botched one of his favorite primary songs (evidently). Enjoy his cuteness and try to make it through my singing!

Why Bother?

Sometimes when I find the boys having more fun playing with garbage than they have playing with their own toys I wonder why we even bother buying them toys?

Because We Love You

Dear Papa and Tutu,

We miss you so much and hope that we get to see you soon. Let's try to Skype so that we can see your smiling faces again!

Love,

Makaio and Kekoa

Packaging

I would like to think that I don't have a dirty mind. In fact when people make crude jokes I tend to say to myself, "I would have never thought of it that way."

So when we recently purchased some Krazy Glue I was surprised to see that this was their final choice for their product package.

At first glance I was simply wondering why they had the construction worker positioned so crazily and then as I took a closer look I was appalled! Really?! Maybe it was an accident...I'd like to think so anyway.

It Only Took One Month

for me to finish my quilt top. I am going to try and package it up and send it off to be quilted sometime this week. There are a couple of things that I really dislike about it but since it is my first quilt ever I can't be too disappointed. Here is the finished product for any that care. The main difference from the last post is that I added a final border.

What should I make next? What have you made? What do you enjoy making? I have enough fabric to make three other quilts but I am up for suggestions!
